Being Mentally Energetic
Being energetic should be understood in two ways: first, being mentally energetic, and second, being physically energetic. We can boost and develop our mental energy through meditation and mantra recitation. Through meditation, we can clear our minds of negative thoughts and the stress—or “mental clutter”—that builds up throughout the day.
We can also use mantra affirmations to raise our mental energy to the desired levels day by day. People are always thinking within themselves. They engage in an internal dialogue with their own minds. They speak, debate, solve problems, and interpret… These are our inner dialogues. If we can bring these inner dialogues under control and use them positively, our energy will rise.
Eating Too Much Lowers Your Energy Levels
If we want to boost our mental energy, we need to pay attention to our diet as well. High-carbohydrate and sugary foods do not provide sustained energy. While these types of foods may make us feel energetic for a short time, they cause our energy levels to drop just as quickly. Since sugary and carbonated drinks, as well as fast food, can destabilize our mental energy, we need to be mindful of what we eat. We should avoid unhealthy foods. We should limit our portions to meet our daily nutritional needs and avoid eating more than we need.
Because when we eat too much and fill our stomachs to bursting, less blood flows to our brain and our energy levels drop. Less blood flow means less oxygen. Without enough oxygen, the brain cannot get the fuel it needs and will lack energy. That is why, after eating heavy, high-calorie foods, people feel the urge to sleep. Salmon is always at the top of my list of recommended foods. Seafood is always very important.
Take Vitamin Supplements!
We should try to consume natural foods and prioritize a protein-rich diet. To maintain a healthy and balanced diet, we need to include both fruits and vegetables as well as protein-rich foods. In addition, we absolutely must take vitamin supplements. This is because the vitamins we get from foods produced today are not sufficient. The vitamins our bodies and brains need—such as omega-3, 6, and 9 supplements, multivitamins, and B-complex vitamins—must be obtained through supplementation.
To stay healthy and full of energy, you need to avoid bad habits. Harmful substances like cigarettes and alcohol deplete the body’s energy. The aches and fatigue experienced the day after drinking alcohol are proof of this. The constant shortness of breath and feelings of unhappiness experienced by smokers are also among the most significant pieces of evidence. Smoking destroys 80 percent of the nutrients a person consumes.
Oxygen and fresh air are essential for energy. Smoking prevents this. Avoiding harmful habits, spending time outdoors, and ventilating indoor spaces help keep a person energetic. Another factor that drains a person’s energy just as much as addictions is the unnecessary use of medication. Taking medication based on hearsay can cause physical harm and lead to a loss of energy.
